Privacy policy

What personal information GILD collects, and what we do with it.

Effective September 1, 2026

Golpe LLC, doing business as GILD ("GILD," "we," "us," or "our"), operates this website to share information about GILD, its Forums, Membership, the GILD Network, sponsorship opportunities, and related experiences. This Privacy Policy explains how GILD collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information when you visit the Site, attend a GILD event, apply for Membership, request information, or otherwise interact with us.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. We collect information you choose to provide through applications, RSVP and event forms, sponsorship inquiries, newsletter sign-ups, contact forms, and other communications. This may include your name, work email, company, job title, city or location, LinkedIn profile, interests, and information about the professional challenges or decisions you are working through.

Event information. When you attend a GILD Forum or other GILD experience, we may collect registration details, attendance information, feedback, and information you voluntarily share with us in connection with that event. This may include limited dietary restrictions, allergies, accessibility needs, or similar accommodation information. Please provide only what is necessary for the requested accommodation.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and service providers acting on our behalf may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. We may use cookies and similar technologies for Site functionality, analytics, security, and to understand how the Site is used.

Information from third parties. We may receive professional or company information from public sources, event partners, referrals, and reputable business data providers to maintain accurate records and understand whether GILD may be relevant to an individual or organization.

3. Sign-in providers and account data

When you choose Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn to sign in to GILD, the provider shares the basic account information you authorize, such as your name, email address, profile image, and provider account identifier. For Google Sign-In, GILD requests only the standard openid, email, and profile permissions. GILD does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or Google password.

We use this information to create or locate your GILD account, authenticate you, maintain your signed-in session, help protect the service from misuse, and display basic profile information within the GILD experience. Supabase provides GILD's authentication infrastructure and processes this information on our behalf. The sign-in provider also processes information under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell sign-in data or use Google user data for advertising. We retain account information for as long as your GILD account remains active or as needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. You may revoke GILD's access through your provider account settings and may request deletion of your GILD account or associated personal information by contacting privacy@gildhq.com.

GILD's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How we share information

GILD does not sell personal information or broadly distribute participant contact information as sponsor inventory. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Site, manage events, host data, provide email and analytics services, or support our business operations. These providers may use information only as needed to provide services to GILD.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of GILD or others, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Introductions through GILD are consent-based. Private Member needs are used to support Members, not to create hidden lead lists. Sponsorship does not influence GILD recommendations. We do not permit non-public participant information to be scraped, sold, redistributed, bulk-enriched, or converted into cold-outbound, automated marketing, recruiting, advertising, or retargeting lists.

5. Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide requested services, meet legal and operational requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after an update is subject to the revised Policy.
